The Annual Walt Disney World Marathon, which carries you through all four theme parks opened today for the general public (originally opened for early registration to DVC Members and AP holders) One of the many events you can register for that weekend is the Dopey Challenge, also known as The Most Magical 48.6 Miles on Earth. Runners of the Dopey Challenge push themselves through 4 days of running to earn a coveted, limited edition medal. How coveted ? The Dopey Challenge sold out in a matter of hours on registration day, along with the Walt Disney World 10K and the Disney Family Fun Run 5K.
The Walt Disney World Marathon weekend is beginning of the events for the 2015 year and also the first that will qualify you for the Coast to Coast medal.
Here’s a little bit more information about the weekend events.
