It is looking like the construction on Magic Kingdom’s Tron Coaster will not complete in time for its opening of 2021.
It is being reported that the construction of TRON Lightcycle Power Run will come to a halt by the end of the year and not pick up again till 2021.
Word is that other Disney World projects like Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and Guardians of the Galaxy Coaster will be halted as well which puts a damper on Disney’s 50th Anniversary Celebration.
The post in the WDW Magic Forums suggests that work will be completed on the exterior and to clean up the area and we might see some of the outdoor canopies go up but starting in December main construction will end till October of 2021.
No official word from Disney has been released at this time…
