Disney+ Series “Loki” Lands Rick and Morty Writer

Disney+ Series “Loki” Lands Rick and Morty Writer. Michael Waldron has been named the first writer, creator, and producer for the Marvel Series about our favorite god of mischief, Loki.

Waldron has been tasked to pen the shows pilot episode and will be acting as an executive producer and show creator for the series. Loki will be one of the first exclusive series coming to Disney’s new streaming service, Disney+.

Michael Waldron is from Atlanta, a major hub for film and television, particularly for Marvel content. He is best known for his work on Rick and Morty (Cartoon Network), Heels (Starz), Florida Man (Paramount), and The Worst Guy of All Time (and the Girl Who Came to Kill Him) (Quibi).

Tom Hiddleston will be reprising his role as the Asgardian Prince and god of mischief, Loki Odinson. Hiddleston has been potraying Thor’s brother, Loki, since the release of Thor in 2011. Loki will be one of several Marvel based shows coming to Disney+.

All roles are set to be reprised by their original cast from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Loki is rumored to showcase Loki on mischievous adventures throughout human history and the potentail influence he may have had during certain historical events.
