Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is getting recognition from more than just theme park guests! The music of the new themed land sets the mood and atmosphere of Baatu. The instrumental music might soon win a GRAMMY award.

Legendary composer John Williams created the soundtrack for the world of Baatu in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. His original theme “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Symphonic Suite” is nominated for a GRAMMY award in the “Best Instrumental Composition” category. John Williams has been composing the iconic music of Star Wars ever since the first movie in 1977. He’s led a celebrated career in Hollywood with his music for other famous movies such as the Indiana Jones franchise.
More Praise for Galaxy’s Edge
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is receiving additional award recognition. The Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) recognizes the new themed land with two Thea Awards for Outstanding Achievement. The awards are for “Millenium Falcon: Smugglers Run” and the land itself.
Also, the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) gave three Brass Ring Awards to Disney for the immersive products and atmosphere entertainment found in Galaxy’s Edge.
The 61st GRAMMY awards ceremony is scheduled for February 10th, 2020.
