Hi there Chip and Company friends! It’s time for our first check-in of the new year with @bioreconstruct on the construction progress at Hollywood Studios. I don’t know about you but I can’t wait to finally hear the opening date of Toy Story Land. Let’s take a look….

TOY STORY LAND (Summer 2018)

It looks like the main focus lately has been on adding landscaping to the new land. It also looks like some scaffolding has been removed from Tinkertoy cannister section of Woody’s Lunchbox, the quick service location for Toy Story Land.

I also spy the in the top right-hand portion of the photo the “lid” has been added to the toy box which will be the future entrance to Toy Story Mania. Here is the picture of it in the concept artwork:

STAR WARS: GALAXY’S EDGE (opens 2019)

A great shot showing how only a service road separates Andy’s Backyard from Batuu, a remote outpost on the galaxy’s edge.

Work continues to be done on the transition tunnel that will transport guests from Grand Avenue to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

It looks like Disney’s other main focus of the moment is to make sure there are plenty of places for guests to purchase souvenirs of their time in a galaxy far, far, away.
