Kathy Najimy to Reprise Role for ‘Sister Act 3’ starring Whoopi Goldberg. During an interview with SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show, Kathy Najimy shared updates to her filming scheduling including new details regarding two new upcoming Disney+ titles: Hocus Pocus 2 and Sister Act 3.
Disney announced both titles during The Walt Disney Investor Day 2020 event and shared that both movies would premiere exclusively on Disney+. Whoopi Goldberg is set to reprise her role as Deloris Wilson for the film and will act as producer alongside Tyler Perry. The premiere date for the sequel is yet to be determined.
Najimy is excited to return sharing the hope for the film is to get as many original actors and production members back for the sequel. “[Whoopi’s] trying to get that going. I, you know why I like that, no hair, no makeup, no spanks, comfortable shoes. It’s a win win for me.”
