Kathy Najimy Shares Update on ‘Hocus Pocus 2’. Back in December, Disney confirmed ‘Hocus Pocus 2′ is in development for Disney+ with Adam Shankman set to direct. Earlier in 2020 The Sanderson Sister actresses Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy shared that they are all on board to join the sequel, and recently Najimy confirmed they are simply waiting for instructions from the studio about “when and where.”
Najimy shared with SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show, “Sarah [Jessica Parker] and Bette [Midler] and I had like a couple of weeks on the phone talking about the script, and that was really fun, obviously.” Kathy continued, “So we talked a lot about notes and if we did now, it’s just, and we all have said in a perfect world, yes. Now it’s just location, times and dates and how long and all that. So it’s just, it’s those things. So, you know, I can’t really give a yay or nay either way.”
