Jon Favreau Receives Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Disney released photos from a ceremony honoring Producer/Director Jon Favreau. The Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, where a star in his honor was unveiled on February 13, 2023. Guest speakers Robert Downey Jr. and Chef Roy Choi honored Favreau at the event, which celebrated his contributions to television.

Jon Favreau is currently showrunner and executive producer of the acclaimed, Emmy award-winning Star Wars series from Lucasfilm, “The Mandalorian,” which begins its third season exclusively on Disney_­+ on March 1. For Lucasfilm and Disney+, Favreau also served as executive producer for “The Book of Boba Fett” and is executive producing the upcoming Star Wars series “Ahsoka” and “Skeleton Crew.”

Favreau was inducted as a “Disney Legend” in 2019 for his contributions to films such as Iron Man, The Lion King, and The Jungle Book. Jon has also made co-starring appearances in several Marvel Cinematic Universe films as Tony Stark’s lovable bodyguard, Happy Hogan.

Favreau executive produced such films as Iron Man (2008), Iron Man 2 (2010), Iron Man 3 (2013), Marvel’s The Avengers (2012), Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), and Avengers: Endgame (2019).
