The vibes are back at CityWalk, Parrotheads! After a long break and some tender love and care, Jimmy Buffett’s beloved seaplane—the Hemisphere Dancer—has officially returned to its dockside post outside the Lone Palm Airport Bar.

While the bar itself reopened back in April after a brief refurbishment, the signature centerpiece of the space had been notably absent… until now. As of May 29, 2025, the iconic Hemisphere Dancer is once again parked proudly to the right of the bar’s seating area—looking refreshed, recharged, and ready for your next island adventure selfie. From a distance, the plane appears unchanged, but those with a keen eye will notice its paint job now sports a brighter, cleaner finish. It’s a subtle glow-up worthy of Margaritaville legend.

The Hemisphere Dancer isn’t just any plane—it’s Jimmy Buffett’s actual seaplane, steeped in stories and song lyrics, and long a landmark of Lone Palm’s laid-back tropical vibes. Its return marks the full completion of the bar’s refresh, which began with a construction closure back in March and slowly phased back into normal operations throughout spring.
