Jim Carrey Reportedly Joining the MCU as an Iconic Villain for Multiple Disney+ Shows. In a role that has commonly been played by comedians to help offset the dark nature of the said character, it appears the next actor to portray the iconic M.O.D.O.K. is none other than Jim Carrey!

Rumors had been swirling for years that Carrey was on Marvel’s shortlist of actors they are waiting to find the right role for, and now it seems we may see this wish fulfilled as early as the premiere of She-Hulk, at least that’s according to a report from The Direct. Despite Patton Oswalt’s portrayal on the animated Hulu series, the MCU canonized version would see Carrey portray M.O.D.O.K. throughout several of the Marvel Disney+ Shows as well as a potential appearance in Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania.
Another interesting thread that may develop from the introduction of M.O.D.O.K. is the potential to reintroduce AIM from Iron Man 3, since M.O.D.O.K. used to be AIM Scientist George Tarleton before an accident led to the enlargement of his head and giving him his current and well known appearance.
