James Cameron says Avatar 3 will Feature ‘Evil’ Fire Na’vi. “The Way of Water” just crossed $1.4 Billion at the global box office, which means people care about the Na’vi and the world of Pandora, again. On its way to coming close to breaking the all-time box office record. The next few weeks will tell.
In the newest Avatar film, we are introduced to a second tribe on the planet of Pandora. The Metkayina are the water tribe, compared to previously seen Omaticaya who are the forest tribe. With The Way of Water doing so well it is guaranteed we will see a 3rd Avatar film hit the theaters, and James Cameron has gone on record in an interview with French media 20 Minutes to discuss the Fire Tribe.

Cameron says “different cultures from those I have already shown. The fire will be represented by the ‘Ash People.’ I want to show the Na’vi from another angle because, so far, I have only shown their good sides.”
“In the early films, there are very negative human examples and very positive Na’vi examples,” James Cameron continued “In ‘Avatar 3,’ we will do the opposite. We will also explore new worlds while continuing the story of the main characters. I can say that the last parts will be the best. The others were an introduction, a way to set the table before serving the meal.”
Avatar 3 is 95% completed, with filming being completed and the movie scheduled for release at the end of 2024.
