Is Harrison Ford Returning to Play Han Solo?

As the Star Wars Universe expands we are getting to explore stories and lore like never before. A new report from Giant Freakin’ Robot indicates that Harrison Ford will not only return as Han Solo for an upcoming Star Wars project, but that he has already filmed his scenes!

Though Disney and/or Lucasfilm have not confirmed Ford’s return, GFR shares, “a trusted and proven inside source for Giant Freakin Robot has shared that Harrison Ford will play Han Solo again. We hear that the actor recently filmed his part for an upcoming project.”

With appearances by Mark Hamill (using de-aging VFX) in The Mandalorian, it makes sense that Lucasfilm would be looking to bring back some familiar faces for future Star Wars projects. It is currently unknown if these new scenes will be featured in a Disney+ Star Wars series or an upcoming featured film. Our best guess is that Ford’s appearance would likely take place in the rumored Kylo Ren project.
