Indiana Jones in Disneyland to begin testing virtual queue

Today, Indiana Jones Adventure in Disneyland is testing out a virtual queue. The queue will work similarly to the Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance virtual queue.

The virtual queue for Indiana Jones Adventure is greatly needed. The attraction has seen a lot of foot traffic since reopening April 30. Due to social distancing measures, Disneyland has had to extend the queue to take over the Jungle Cruise queue for overflow. The Jungle Cruise is currently closed for enhancements but is expected to reopen this summer. Once the ride reopens, the queue will no longer be available for Indiana Jones overflow.

The virtual queue for Indiana Jones Adventure will be implemented differently than the Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance virtual queue. It will only be used during some park hours and is not expected to be available prior to or at park opening. During the testing, both the standby and virtual queue may be available. The virtual queue will be used as demand dictates.

Guests will be required to be inside Disneyland park to join the virtual queue, and guests with Park Hopper tickets who begin their day at Disney California Adventure must hop to Disneyland Park before they can join the Indiana Jones Adventure virtual queue. The queue can be joined through the Disneyland app. Guests will only be able to join the virtual queue once a day.

Indiana Jones Adventure will be the 2nd ride at Disneyland to use a virtual queue. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance was the first. Guests will be able to hold a virtual spot in both queues at the same time. Keep in mind, joining the virtual queue does not guarantee riding the attraction.
