In the summer, it is very difficult to find a place to cool down at Epcot. Recently, this new seating area debuted after the exit of Mission: Space.
There are two large circular bench seating areas with backs. There are also new backless seating options.
The best part about the new seating area is the charging option available. There are outlets and USB charging ports available at both the circular and backless benches.
We rely on our phones so much these days and they rarely stay charged while at the parks. It is great to have an air-conditioned spot to stop by and charge your devices.
This is the view as you exit the ride. You can see the new seating area to the right. The children’s play place is on the left and interactive games are all around. So parents with children of all ages can relax and (re)charge while their children are playing. You are also able to access this area from the gift shop without riding Mission: Space.
