There’s simple and then there’s deceptively simple. Some snacks around Walt Disney World are deceptively simple and unbelievably delicious. We could go out on a limb and say that a lot of times it’s the basic treats, the most overlooked ones, that are actually the best! Sometimes it’s worth forgoing the fancy Christmas cupcakes and heading for a simple Holiday Macaroon.
The Boardwalk Bakery is always a heavy-hitter for some sugary Disney snacks. They’ve got cupcakes, fudge, cookies, rice krispy treats, and more. Making a decision doesn’t come easy here! But before you pick the biggest and most elaborate-looking thing in the case, take a look at the macaroon. It’s a good-sized dome of moist coconut, dipped in red and green white chocolate. It may seem simple, but it’s deceptive! This cookie is packed with flavor and that unique texture of coconut. It’s easy to share and/or easy to take home! It costs $5.99 before tax, so why not just add it on to whatever you’re already buying and take it home for later?
There are lots of other Christmas snacks at the Boardwalk Bakery, such as Gingerbread Mickeys and Christmas Cupcakes. You’re sure to find something yummy for each family member. So whether you’re staying at a resort on the Boardwalk or spending the day at Epcot, try to squeeze in a walk to the Bakery for your afternoon snack.
