A replica of the restaurant famous for being a staple of old Hollywood, The Hollywood Brown Derby Restaurant at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is one that is often difficult to land a reservation for. However, the restaurant’s lounge now offers a limited menu, and no reservation is needed to dine there!

The original Brown Derby catered to the stars of the Golden Era of Hollywood and left us with stories still told to this day. It is said that the Cobb Salad was invented there when owner Bob Cobb arranged it for a special guest. Clark Gable proposed to Carole Lombard there, and even an episode of I Love Lucy features the famous establishment as the setting of a lunch gone haywire for Lucy, Ethel and Fred.
Although the original Wilshire Boulevard restaurant in California closed in 1985, the Walt Disney World version still welcomes visitors every day. Located very close to Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway in the Chinese Theater building, The Hollywood Brown Derby is one of the original establishments of an ever-changing and growing park. Being lucky enough to dine there makes you feel truly immersed in Hollywood history.
