Hocus Pocus and The Nightmare Before Christmas Are Coming to the El Capitan
The spooky season has arrived in Hollywood! The iconic El Capitan Theatre is hosting special screenings of two Disney favorites: Disney’s “Hocus Pocus” and Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” in 4D.
Tickets are on sale now for both fan-favorite classics, featuring exclusive photo ops, special guest introductions, and immersive 4D effects.
Disney’s “Hocus Pocus” (October 9 – 15)
Fly into Hollywood for a run of the Sanderson Sisters’ iconic adventure, complete with themed photo ops and a special opening night event.
- Opening Night Fan Event: Friday, October 9 at 7:00 PM
- Special Guests: Includes a special introduction by composer John Debney and creator David Kirschner.
- Festivities: Guests are encouraged to wear their All Hallows’ Eve best and take photo ops at the cauldron photo station.
- Ticket Price: $35 (includes an event credential, a 64oz popcorn tub, and a 24oz fountain drink).
- Daily Screenings: October 9 through October 15
- Showtimes: 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM, 4:00 PM, and 7:00 PM
- Admission: $16 for all ages (all seats are reserved).
Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” in 4D (October 16 – November 1)
Experience Jack Skellington and the residents of Halloween Town brought to life with sensory 4D theater effects. Every screening includes a showing of the classic Disney animated short “The Skeleton Dance” before the feature film, alongside Holiday Door photo opportunities in the lobby.
- Opening Night Fan Event: Friday, October 16 at 7:30 PM
- Special Feature: Live drawing demonstration with George McClements as guests enter the theatre.
- Ticket Price: $70 (includes reserved seating, a Jack Skellington popcorn container with popcorn, a fountain drink, and an event credential).
