Oogie Boogie Bash Adds Haunted Mansion Street Party

Get ready to socialize with some happy haunts! “Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake – A Haunted Mansion Street Party” is officially bringing the mansion’s most iconic moments straight to the streets of Disney California Adventure during Oogie Boogie Bash. Disney also shared other details for this year’s Halloween party.

Making its grand debut this year is “Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake – A Haunted Mansion Street Party.” This brand-new spectacle brings the iconic attraction to life with multiple show-stopping moments. Led by Madame Leota during a spirited séance, the swinging wake will feature ghostly dancers and ghoulish delights, inviting guests to join a ghastly good time that is sure to summon all 999 happy haunts. Because of ongoing construction throughout Disney California Adventure, this lively street party will temporarily replace the Frightfully Fun Parade for the 2026 season.

For those looking to upgrade their evening, the Oogie Boogie Bash Dessert Party is returning to offer premium viewing of the new street party. This year, the event boasts a brand-new menu of sweets themed after Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. Reservation dates and additional details are set to drop on Disneyland.com later this summer.

You may also encounter not-often-seen villains and Disney characters dressed up for Halloween throughout California Adventure. And you won’t want to miss trick-or-treating along immersive treat trails and a selection of themed bites available just for the party.

Stroll through dreamlike scenes in Villains Grove, where Redwood Creek Challenge Trail will transform into an enchanted world inspired by Disney villains like the Queen of Hearts and Dr. Facilier.

At select times throughout the evening, Ichabod Crane hurries through California Adventure evading the sinister specter of the Headless Horseman astride his dark steed.

From thrilling rides and sweet treats to haunting decor and unique photo opportunities, there’s something for everyone in the family to enjoy!

Oogie Boogie Bash Dates and Ticket Details

This year, there are 33 nights in August, September, and October to attend Oogie Boogie Bash. Tickets will go on sale beginning June 18, 2026, no earlier than 9 a.m. PST, with pre-sale opportunities for select groups.

Sunday, September 27, will be a special Oogie Boogie Bash evening, reserved only for D23 Members, on sale June 16, 2026.

This after-hours party for all ages is the perfect opportunity to don an iconic costume, collect candy, and enjoy access to select attractions, often with shorter wait times. The event goes from 6 p.m. through 11 p.m. and admission includes entry to California Adventure three hours before the party officially begins, plus unlimited Disney PhotoPass digital photo downloads from the party.
