‘Hamilton’ Wins the Only Emmy for Disney During the 73rd Emmy Awards Show. This year, the Emmys returned to live television and Disney fans eagerly awaited the outcome of the night with many left stunned that the only winner for the Walt Disney Company during the live event went to the smashing hit musical Hamilton.
Hamilton was not however the only Emmy winner for the company throughout all three ceremonies, with Disney earning Emmys for the creative arts for WandaVision, The Mandalorian, Black is King, The Oscars, Secrets of the Whales, and Hamilton earlier this week.
Lin-Manuel Miranda’s ‘Hamilton‘ received an Emmy Award for Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded) for Disney+. The news was shared via Disney+ social media along with the caption: “Congratulations to the cast and crew of #Hamilton on their #Emmys win for Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded). #Emmys2021“
Congratulations to the cast and crew of ‘Hamilton’ on this historic win! ⭐️
Hamilton is currently available to stream via Disney+, with live performances currently in cities suchas New York, Los Angeles, London, Australia, Germany, and on the North America Tour.
