Hagrid’s Motorbike Adventure At Universal Closed Tuesday Following BackStage Fire

Hagrid’s Magical Creature Motorbike Adventure has been Universal Orlando’s top attraction since it opened last June. Wait times were capped off early and people spent their entire day waiting to ride. Since Universal’s reopening on June 5th fans have been able to score virtual line passes or even recently walk on with minimal waits.

According to a backstage representative and reported by Click Orlando, “A small fire on one of Universal’s hit roller coasters caused the ride to be shut down Tuesday.”

Guests were escorted away from the ride and thankfully no one was injured. According to Universal Team Members we spoke to this morning Hagrid’s will be also be closed today (Wednesday, August 12th). There’s no word yet when it will reopen.

We’re happy to hear that everyone is ok. We have enjoyed our time at Universal Orlando and thank all the Team Members for their hard work.
