Gugu Mbatha-Raw Joins Cast of Marvel’s ‘Loki’ Coming to Disney+. The Beauty and the Beast and A Wrinkle in Time Actress, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, has joined the cast of Marvel’s Loki, coming soon to Disney+!

Gugu will be joining fellow cast mates, Owen Wilson, Sophia Di Martino, and Tom Hiddleston (Loki) for the Disney+ series. It is currently unknown what role the actress will play for the series, but we are excited to see her branch into the Marvel Cinematic Universe!

Marvel and Disney have been keeping the series plot fairly hush-hush, but the official synopsis shares: “In Marvel Studios’ “Loki,” the mercurial villain Loki (Tom Hiddleston) resumes his role as the God of Mischief in a new series that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.” Kate Herron directs and Michael Waldron is head writer. Debuts on Disney+ next year — 2021.”
