Monorail Yellow encountered an unexpected issue this morning while transporting guests on the EPCOT beam at Walt Disney World.

According to Fox35‘s Pattrik Perez, a passenger, Kris Lenk, shared an account suggesting a possible tire blowout or electrical problem, stating, “There was a loud bang explosion, and then we kind of saw a big flash of light. After that, the monorail slowed down.”

Reedy Creek has verified to local news sources that a Disney monorail was immobilized, prompting responses from the Reedy Creek Fire Department and Orange County Fire Department. Social media posts have captured emergency crews utilizing hydraulic lifts to safely evacuate guests from the affected monorail.
