Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind coming to Disney Genie+ & Lightning Lane

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is opening in Epcot in just a few weeks and we can’t wait! As we get closer to the opening, more and more details are being released about the new ride.

Disney recently announced that the attraction would use a virtual queue and now we also know the ride will be an Individual Lightning Lane Attraction on the Disney Genie+ service.

Guests wishing to experience Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will be able to purchase individual Lightning Lane entry for the attraction on the day of their Epcot visit. If staying at a Disney resort hotel, you can purchase the entry starting at 7 am the day of. Otherwise, you’ll have to wait until you enter the park.

At this time we don’t know a price for the Lightning Lane access. Currently, the most expensive Lightning Lane attraction is Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at $15 per person (plus tax).

If you don’t want to purchase the Lightning Lane access, you can use the virtual queue. Each guest can only use the virtual queue once per day and there will not be a standby line when the ride first opens.
