Grapefruit Garage Now Open At Disney Springs. The third parking garage for Disney Springs at Walt Disney World Resort is now open for use!
After months of building, delays, name changes, and more, the all new Grapefruit Garage is finally open for use! We recently visited Disney Springs and decided to check out the new parking area, which is named after popular citrus fruits like the previously opened Orange and Lime Garages already located at Disney Springs.
This is the first garage located on the other side of Buena Vista Drive from Disney Springs right next to the Disney Casting Building. Which means to cross the street safely you must walk over a series of bridges before arriving at Disney Springs. Don’t worry though! The walks are rather short and there are elevators to the different floors of the bridges for those who have mobility issues.
Let’s take a look inside the garage itself.
With stairs, escalators, and elevators there are plenty of ways to get to the parking level that your vehicle may be on. Just remember which floor and row you parked in! Pro Tip: Take a picture of the sign with the floor and row number so you can remember where you parks after your visit.
After you cross the bridges, just follow the signs to the new entrance to Disney Springs located near the World of Disney Store. Remember where this entrance is because this is how you will get back to the Grapefruit Garage and your vehicle!
We are so glad to see the third parking garage finally open and ready top use this summer at Disney Springs. Maybe we will get a fourth garage named ‘Lemon’ in the next few years? For now, we can enjoy an alleviated traffic flow around the Disney Springs Area as this will help open up the roadways while Disney works on bringing some truly amazing, new entertainment and dining experiences to Disney Springs for years to come.
