Give Kids the World Night of a Million Lights Review

Night of a Million Lights

Give Kids the World Night of a Million Lights Review. A dancing lights show, tram tours, and unique behind-the-scenes experiences highlight an array of exciting additions guaranteed to make this year’s second annual Night of a Million Lights holiday lights spectacular another dazzling success. Scheduled to illuminate the Central Florida skyline from Friday, November 12, 2021, through Sunday, January 2, 2022, Night of a Million Lights will once again provide the public with a rare glimpse inside Give Kids The World Village, an 89-acre, a whimsical nonprofit resort that provides critically ill children and their families with magical weeklong wish vacations at no cost.

We were invited for a media preview with our family and had the most magical time. From meeting former Wish recipients and spending time learning how much the Village meant to them and their whole family, to meeting WWE NXT stars, to the food and merchandise, we were blown away at the improvements GKTW village has done for this years Night of a Million Lights.

The new Tram tour stands out as very impressive and is a sensory overload of Lights. The imagination the volunteers have for decorating houses is stunning. We got to meet Santa, stroll through the Tree Trail that is filled with fellow Disney Vloggers. Bloggers, Influencers, and Media sites that donated over $1000.00 to decorate a tree. It made us proud to be part of such a wonderful community.

We cannot recommend Night of a Million Lights more! It is the best light show in Central Florida, plus all the ticket sales go towards our favorite charity, GKTW.org. If you are down here on Vacation and think the local parks are charging a little too much for a nighttime Christmas event, take a small 10-minute drive to the Village. You will not be disappointed in any way. This show is on par with the Multi-Million dollar events.

Walt Disney World Resort Helps Transform Give Kids The World Village for its Second Annual Night of a Million Lights Holiday Event:

After giving $3 million in grant donations to local nonprofits as part of the 50th-anniversary celebration, we’re now ready to ring in the holidays alongside the Central Florida community. To celebrate the season, Disney will once again help light up Give Kids The World Village for its second annual Night of a Million Lights holiday event happening Nov. 12 through Jan. 2, 2022.

Created with millions of sparkly lights donated by Disney, Night of a Million Lights transforms Give Kids The World’s whimsical storybook Village into a dazzling winter wonderland, immersing visitors in a decorated fairytale neighborhood featuring a 360-degree dancing lights show, a sparkling tree trail, a guided storytelling tour of 100 brightly decorated villas and more.

This year, Disney’s talented Holiday Services team helped decorate the village in true Disney fashion, paying homage to a beloved attraction that celebrates cultures all across the globe: “it’s a small world.”

“Give Kids The World Village is a special place for not only the children and families who visit, but also for our cast members,” Tajiana Ancora-Brown, Director of External Affairs at Walt Disney World Resort, said. “As one of the top nonprofits where our Disney VoluntEARS dedicate their time, it warms my heart to see so many of our cast continue to enthusiastically spread the magic of Disney throughout the Village this holiday season.”

Give Kids The World Village, one of the recent Disney grant recipients and an integral part of our Wish Granting efforts here at Walt Disney World Resort, provides a space for Wish families to create priceless memories together away from hospital visits and medical procedures – and all event proceeds will help make magical wishes come true for critically ill children and their families from around the world.

In addition to all the holiday fun at the Village, The Walt Disney Company also recently launched the Disney Ultimate Toy Drive across domestic sites with a donation of $500,000 to Toys for Tots to help provide toys to children and inspire hope where it’s needed most this holiday season. Cast members and guests alike are invited to participate in the drive at Walt Disney World Resort by donating a toy online through shopDisney.com or a new, unwrapped toy in person at Marketplace Co-Op, Star Wars Galactic Outpost, World of Disney or the Welcome Center in Disney Springs. Visit Disney.Com/ToyDrive for more information.

Whether visiting us at Walt Disney World Resort, exploring the Night of a Million Lights holiday event or donating to Toys for Tots, one thing is for sure: there is plenty of magic happening all around Central Florida this holiday season!
