Giant Mickey Pumpkin Arrives
The elusive Giant Mickey Pumpkin finally made its way to Walt Disney World’s World of Disney Store in Disney Springs. Before you could say Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo it was gone!
Almost 2ft Tall
This giant pumpkin stands at about 22 inches. It is huge! The item is priced at $64.99 and it seems unheard of for an item this size, which looks more like a Disney Parks display than a home decor item.
A Mistake?
We did hear that the item was actually a mistake. The pumpkins were intended to be much smaller but due to a miscommunication between Disney and the manufacturer the Giant Mickey Pumpkin was born. We’re not complaining. This is pure awesomeness!
Giant Mickey Pumpkin Lights Up
The pumpkin is actually pretty lightweight and constructed of heavy-duty plastic. You can display it with or without the light-up feature. A button on the bottom allows you to turn on a spinning holographic type light that comes from within the pumpkin and projects internally.
The Giant Mickey has two huge pumpkin ears on either side. The lights do not shine into the ears.
The inner illumination does wrap around the entire pumpkin.

Sells Out Fast
As soon as it made its debut in Disneyland it quickly became a hot item. Guests were swiping them up before the cast members could even set them out for display.
Once word was out that they finally made it to Disney World, guests were lined up outside World of Disney hours before the store opened. It sold out instantly.
Sadly this item have been popping up on resale sites for on average $150 to $300.

Tips to Find One
Getting your hands on one is no easy feat. While you can call the merchandise line stock is often depleted before the system updates. If you are checking Disney World or Disneyland it’s best to ask when they can expect the next shipment and arrive at or before opening.
Shop Disney is another place to keep your eyes peeled. Once restocked the item goes fast so make sure to check several times throughout the week.
