The Orlando Sentinel has just reported that a young child is missing after an alligator dragged him into the water near Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. The 2 year old was dragged into the Seven Seas Lagoon around 9:30pm according to Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Rose Silva.

Deputies are still searching the waters for the child, who has not yet been found. That is all we know for now.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the child’s family as rescuers search for the young guest.
