Frontierland Shootin’ Gallery is now free in the Magic Kingdom

If you’re looking to have a true western experience while in the Magic Kingdom, mosey on over to the Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade. Previously, this attraction required an extra fee in order to participate. We found out today it is now free!

Frontierland Shootin’ Gallery is now free in the Magic Kingdom

At the Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade guests take aim at nearly 100 targets in an Old West-themed shooting gallery. Guests shoot with a replica .54-caliber Hawkins buffalo rifle.

Frontierland Shootin’ Gallery is now free in the Magic Kingdom

The guns do not fire pellets or projectiles of any kind. Instead, each rifle fires an invisible beam of safe infrared light. When the infrared light from the rifle strikes a sensor on the target, a hit is signaled.

It’s a fun, and now free, way to take a break from rides at Magic Kingdom.
