In Walt Disney World, Flamingo Crossings Village is now accepting applications for apartments. Cast Members and Operating Participants will be the exclusive new residents of the village. Though it was built for Disney College Program participants, the program’s cancelation for the foreseeable future means the apartments are now empty. Its location less than fifteen minutes from each Walt Disney World theme park makes it ideal for those looking to commute daily.
The apartments are available for move-in immediately and in-person tours are open as well. Future residents can choose between furnished and unfurnished. The smallest apartments are 2-bedroom and 2-bath; the largest apartments are 4-bedroom and 4-bath. Some feature shared bedrooms, all of them include a kitchen and living area. Short term leases are available. Rent starts at $559 per person. Life at Flamingo Crossings includes access to their Community Center. It boasts wifi throughout the community, a courtesy patrol officer, and a 12,500 square foot fitness center. Residents can also use indoor recreation such as ping pong and an arcade, resort-style swimming pools, and basketball and sand volleyball courts. They will also gladly match someone with a roommate if they desire.
According to their website, “Flamingo Crossings Village provides Cast Members and Operating Participants with spacious 2 and 4 bedroom apartments at a range of rates conducive for various budgets. All apartments feature hardwood-style flooring, stainless steel appliances, a washer and dryer, a flat panel TV, and a free furniture package.”
