Production is underway for “Descendants 3,” and here’s the first behind-the-scenes photo from the set of “Descendants 3” featuring the four VKs (villain kids) in their new looks. Pictured from left to right are Cameron Boyce as Carlos (son of Cruella de Vil), Sofia Carson as Evie (daughter of the Evil Queen), Dove Cameron as Mal (daughter of Maleficent) and Booboo Stewart as Jay (son of Jafar) in the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie “Descendants 3.”
Earlier this year “Descendants” fans received confirmation of the long-awaited news of a “Descendants 3” movie. The intriguing message, featuring “Mal”(daughter of Maleficent), alludes to a new villain character–Mal’s father –joining the hugely popular story of the teenage sons and daughters of Disney’s most infamous villains. “Descendants 3” is kicking off production in Vancouver, Canada this summer for a debut next year on Disney Channel. Emmy Award and DGA Award-winning director Kenny Ortega (“Descendants,” “High School Musical” trilogy) is the director, executive producer and choreographer.
Reprising their roles are: Dove Cameron as Mal, Cameron Boyce as Carlos, Sofia Carson as Evie, Booboo Stewart as Jay, Mitchell Hope as King Ben and China Anne McClain as Uma. Additional casting for “Descendants 3” will be announced at a later date.
