First Look at the Summer Tribute Store at Universal Orlando

Step into a nostalgic paradise this summer at Universal Studios Florida with the grand opening of the Summer Tribute Store, a retro-themed wonderland that’s a dream come true for lovers of 80’s films and vintage vibes. As you wander through the immersive realms of an old-school arcade, a cozy video store, and a classic theater setting, you’ll find yourself surrounded by a treasure trove of themed merchandise and decor celebrating iconic films like Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, Shrek, and Jaws. We have your first look at the new store ready for you!

The Tribue Store is broken down into three main sections: Mega Video Rental, Mega Castle Arcade, and Tribute Theatre.

The stores entrance leads directly to the Mega Video Rental section, which is immersively themed with old-school video tapes (think movie night at Blockbuster), tons of fun merch, and even a ‘workstation’ for the video store that is filled with tons of throwback easter eggs (hint: be sure to take in all of the videos, you may just see some Halloween Horror Nights hints!).

Mega Video Rental leads you directly to Mega Castle Arcade, which brings back memories of spending hours dumping quarters into video games.

While the video game props are nonfunctional, the theming here is on-point and will really take you back in time!

The arcade section is also the home of the Tribute Stores exclusive snacks, featuring an array of cookies and cakes all decorated to coincide with the store’s theme.

The arcade section is, of course, also packed full of merch.

The arcade sections lead you to the final (and my personal favorite) section of this year’s Tribute store, the Tribute Theatre. This section of the store is a Ghostbusters fan’s dream but does not leave out fans of Back to the Future or E.T.

Scenes from the original Ghostbusters film have been recreated around the perimeter of the room.

This section features tons of merch themed after the films represented in this year’s tribute store.
