Rachel Zegler transformed into Disney’s Snow White as the actress is pictured in full costume to begin filming on the live action movie.
In the photos, Rachel Zegler is seen wearing a gown with a blue bodice and long puff sleeves attached to a canary yellow tulle skirt. Other than the sleeves being a longer version of the animation’s original costume, the look does closely resemble the original 1937 character.

“Never in a million years did I imagine that this would be a possibility for me,” the actress noted. “You don’t normally see Snow Whites that are of Latin descent. Even though Snow White is really a big deal in Spanish-speaking countries.”
The remake currently stars Rachel Zegler (Snow White), Gal Gadot (The Evil Queen), and Andrew Burnap (unspecified role as male lead opposite of Snow White). The new film will be produced by Marc Platt, directed by Marc Webb, with new music and reimagined renditions by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (La, La, Land, The Greatest Showman, Dear Evan Hansen).
While Rachel Zegler seems to be just getting underway filming her role for the movie, Gal Gadot actually wrapped filming last month.
Even though details about the updated Snow White have been kept tight to Disney’s vest, fans are eager to see what the new film will offer to viewers.
