‘FAUCI’ Documentary Now Streaming on Disney+. Hearing the name “Fauci” elicits a variety of reactions from people around the world, and since the COVID-19 pandemic hit The United States of America in late 2019-early 2020 there has hardly been a science or medical-based conversation in the news about the pandemic that didn’t involve the mention of Chief Medical Advisor to the President, Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Now, National Geographic is giving viewers a chance to dive deeper into who Dr. Fauci is and what his job has entailed through both the 80’s surge in SARS and now the COVID-19 Pandemic in their new documentary titled Fauci. A synopsis of the documentary reads; “The career and life of Dr. Anthony Fauci, the public servant who has advised seven U.S. presidents beginning with the AIDS pandemic in the 1980s and through SARS, Ebola and now Covid-19.“

Fauci is brought to National Geographic by Emmy winners John Hoffman (“Sleepless in America”) and Janet Tobias (“Unseen Enemy”). Additionally, Academy Award winner Dan Cogan (“Icarus”) and two-time Academy Award nominee Liz Garbus (“What Happened, Miss Simone?”) are producers on the project.
