Expedition Everest is closing for long refurbishment in January 2022

Expedition Everest in Disney’s Animal Kingdom park will be closing in January for a lengthy refurbishment. The attraction is scheduled to be closed starting January 4, 2022.

The ride will be closed until mid-April. No set reopening date has been announced.

The refurbishment is for the ride system. No mention of fixing the infamous Yeti animatronic.

If you’ll be visiting Disney World during this time, keep the closure in mind.
