Ewan McGregor Will Spilt Half of All Film and Television Royalties With Ex-Wife, Including Star Wars. Actor Ewan McGregor and French production designer Eve Mavrakis split back in 2018 after 22 years of marriage, but the divorce has been a drawn out over the last two years.

In a recent ruling, McGregor was ordered by the court to give Mavrakis half of his royalties from all film and television roles during their marriage. This includes Ewan’s work in the Star Wars prequels, Angels and Demons, Beauty and the Beast, Moulin Rouge, and more.

ComicBook.com also reported, “McGregor does get to keep 30 vehicles, while Mavrakis hangs onto their Los Angeles home, valued at $6.62 million. She also keeps her jewelry, five vehicles, some bank accounts, and more $500,000 cash to even things out. She’ll also receive child support of nearly $15,000 each month for their 9-year-old daughter Anouk, of whom the couple shares joint legal and physical custody, plus spousal support of more than $35,000 per month.”

Currently, Ewan McGregor is set to reprise his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi for the new and untitled ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi‘ Disney+ Series in the works at Lucasfilm. The new series will focus on Obi-Wan Kenobi after the events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, after he brings Luke Skywalker as an infant to his Uncle and Aunt on Tatooine. The series will also take place in roughly the same time period as Solo: A Star Wars Story, so there is always the possibility of a cross over between the two storylines, but likely no interactions will be seen between Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Obi-Wan. We may see the presence of the Crimson Dawn, but that has yet to be confirmed.
