No sports = Disney movies?
As we all know all sports were cancelled due to the recent events happening in the world, so what to do when that air space is open? Add Disney movies of course!
ESPN decided to fill in that gap on Friday nights with a selection of Disney movies based on sports. They will start with a classic “The Rookie”! This movie tells the story of Jim Morris, a high school baseball coach that leads his team to win the district championship, this will take him to be the oldest rookie in the major leagues.
Then on April 3rd filling the gap of the NCAA final four weekend we’ll have “Glory Road”, a movie that show us the story of Don Haskins who started history’s first all african american lineup in college basketball.
Other movies that will be filling up the gap are:
- Miracle
- Invincible
- Secretariat
- The Greatest Game Ever Played
