Epic Universe Multipurpose Building Continues to Take Shape
A new multipurpose building is quickly rising inside Universal Epic Universe, with fresh aerial photos from bioreconstruct showing major progress on the large structure near Celestial Park. Located between Other Worlds Mercantile and Super Nintendo World, the project sits beside a backstage bus loop and across from Moonship Chocolates & Celestial Sweets.

Metal decking now covers most of the upper surface of the building’s most developed section, a major step forward from the exposed steel framework seen earlier this summer. Crews are still working around several open sections, while a tall, box-shaped frame rising above the structure may eventually house a staircase or elevator.
The project could open in phases, with Team Member facilities possibly becoming available before the building’s private event spaces. Universal has not officially announced an opening timeline or confirmed how the venue will operate, but plans reportedly include a kitchen, breakroom, storage areas, and a large event hall capable of hosting approximately 1,200 to 1,400 guests.

Permit documents identify the project as P915 and describe a two-level, 53,886-square-foot facility valued at more than $20 million. Once complete, the building could host corporate gatherings, media events, private receptions, limited-time experiences, and other group functions.
