Uno! Dos! Tres! Wait…we’re missing somebody…
In an eventful week for Epcot, guests discovered one of the Three Caballeros is down for the count. Those who currently ride the Gran Fiesta Tour at Epcot will only see Donald Duck and Panchito Pistoles. The animatronic for José Carioca is currently missing from the final scene of the attraction.
The animatronic is gone due to its technical issues from a few days ago. Epcot guests made note how José was failing to operate as usual. Several fans shared videos and photos of the downed animatronic. We don’t know what created the issue, but Disney is working on fixing José Carioca.
Until then, guests will have to ride the Gran Fiesta Tour with only two of the Caballeros in the final room. It’s not the same without Jose though. Many enjoy exploring World Showcase and the Gran Fiesta Tour is a great attraction to experience. The trio of birds are beloved Disney characters, so seeing the Three Caballeros is a highlight of visiting Epcot!
We’re sure José Carioca will soon be repaired and put back with his buddies on the ride. Stay tuned and we’ll let our fans know when the Three Caballeros are reunited at Epcot!
