The Epcot International Gateway construction is well underway, and we have updated pictures to show you the progress!
The gateway is being redesigned to accommodate a larger number of guests to enter Epcot Park once the Disney Skyliner opens this fall. As a result of the skyliner, a total of 4 more resorts will be entering at the Epcot International Gateway location. Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Resort and the new Disney Riviera Resort will all be entering from the skyliner through the International Gateway.
There has been quite a bit of preliminary work over the past couple of months at the Epcot International Gateway, guests were being rerouted as the area is expanded. As you can see, the gateway is already taking guests through this area again at the magicband touch points.
Even though the entrance and exit to the gateway are still surrounded by walls, it is pretty well labeled for guests to make their way through.
What do you think of the new Epcot International Gateway entrance? Will you be using this entrance? Will you be taking a ride on the new Disney Skyliner? Tell us in the comments!
