Though many fans feel the initial introduction of Solo: A Star Wars Story was affected by the pressumed lack of confidence by Lucasfilm, Star Wars fans have grown to love the “Solo” film after its streaming debut and DVD release. In fact, some fans are regretting missing the chance to see the film in theaters due to protesting the casting choices, over saturation of Star Wars films in theaters at the time, and for the lack of faith in the Star Wars franchise to tell a story about pre-existing characters.
According to That Hashtag Show, a new series is now in development that will feature Emilia Clarke’s Qi’ra. With THS sharing, “We’ve exclusively learned that Emilia Clarke will be returning to the role of Q’ira for a live-action Disney+ series.” It is currently unknown if Qi’ra’s return will be featured in the Darth Maul project confirmed to be in the works at Lucasfilm and Disney+, or if she will appear in another Star Wars Disney+ show.
Would you like to see Qi’ra as she leads the Crimson Dawn under the direction of Darth Maul? What other Star Wars stories would you like to see come to Disney+? We would love to hear your thoughts in the comments. This is a developing story, so be sure to check back here at Chip and Company for updates and all things Star Wars!
