Electric Mayhem Takes Over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Queue at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
The Electric Mayhem is officially rolling into Hollywood Studios louder than Animal attacking a drum solo. New themed posters have now appeared in the exterior queue for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets as Disney continues racing toward the attraction’s grand reopening later this month.

The colorful additions bring even more Muppet chaos and rock concert energy to the reimagined coaster’s queue area. Installed along the wall separating Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster from the nearby Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After queue, the posters spotlight Dr. Teeth, Animal, Janice, Floyd Pepper, Zoot, and Lips in psychedelic concert-style artwork inspired by classic rock tour advertisements.
One poster advertises The Electric Mayhem’s “one-night-only” Hollywood concert, which guests are apparently speeding toward aboard the coaster itself. Another features the phrase “Can You Picture That?” referencing the iconic original song from The Muppet Movie. There’s even artwork featuring the band’s colorful bus, helping tie together the attraction’s new backstage road-trip concert storyline.
Disney has also added more details to the freshly painted Rock Around the Shop sign near the attraction exit. Dr. Teeth’s hand now sports additional rings curling around the sign lettering, adding a little extra Muppet flair to the merchandise location.

The updates continue a steady stream of visible changes around the coaster in recent weeks. Disney recently added “Muppets” branding to the attraction entrance, updated the upside-down limo’s license plate to read “MUPP3TS,” and installed the ride’s new attraction poster in the courtyard area.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets officially opens May 26, 2026, with Annual Passholder and Disney Vacation Club previews scheduled ahead of the public debut.

Disney has also already revealed the coaster’s full soundtrack lineup, featuring rock covers performed by The Electric Mayhem themselves. So yes, somewhere deep inside Disney Imagineering, someone got paid to ask the important question: “What if Janice covered classic rock songs at 60 miles per hour?” 🎸🐸
Honestly? That’s the kind of beautiful creative chaos the Muppets were born for.
