The highly anticipated all-new Disneynature film “Penguins” is set to open in theaters April 17, 2019.  In its ongoing quest to bring the natural world to the big screen as never before seen.  The newest project to date brings moviegoers to the icy Antarctic.

The all-new Disneynature film “Penguins”, narrated by Ed Helms, is a coming-of-age story about an Adeline penguin named Steve.  Steve joins millions of fellow males on a quest to build a suitable nest, find a life partner and start a family.  However, Steve’s quest doesn’t come easy when he is targeted by predators.

In commemoration of Earth Day, the El Capitan Theater will be celebrating Earth Day by showing the all-new Disneynature film “Penguins” April 17-21, 2019 as well as “celebrating 10 years of remarkable films, lasting conservation program, and the latest partnership with Wildlife Conservation Network” said Ed Collins, General Manager of the El Capitan Theater.  “We are thrilled that Disneynature will make a donation in honor of every El Capitan guest who sees the film opening week in support of Wildlife Conservation Network’s Global Penguin Society projects around the world”.

Guests visiting the El Capitan Theater for the all-new Disneynature film “Penguins” daily at 10:00am and 12:45pm.  Tickets are on sale now by calling 1-800-DISNEY6 or online at www.elcapitantickets.com.  Special group rates for parties of 20 or more are available by calling 1-818-845-3110.  Showtimes and dates are subject to change.
