Earl of Sandwich in Downtown Disney is Now Open

Update 2/1/23 12pm: Earl of Sandwich is now open in Downtown Disney.

Earl of Sandwich, the quick-service dining destination that celebrates the art of the sandwich, has made its return to the Downtown Disney® District and the Disneyland® Resort in Anaheim, opening for business today at its new temporary location. The fan-favorite restaurant serves a menu of hand-crafted hot sandwiches, salads, breakfast dishes, baked goods and more. Guests can enjoy signature sandwiches like The Original 1762®, The Full Montagu® and Cannonballs!™. Plus, making its Earl of Sandwich debut is the new Spicy BBQ Brisket Sandwich, available for a limited time. 

Earl of Sandwich will be open at 11am on Wednesday and Thursday and move to regular hours on Friday (open @ 8am).

The Earl of Sandwich Tavern, a full-service restaurant offering a seated breakfast, lunch and dinner, in addition to a full bar is slated to debut in a few weeks and we will keep you informed on when it is expected to open.  

Earl of Sandwich is returning to the Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort! Disneyland fans are so excited to see this restaurant return and it looks like it’ll be opening this week.

When Disney originally made the announcement, all they shared was that Earl of Sandwich would return in February. Now, it looks like the location will open tomorrow, February 1! When it reopens, it will have both a grab-and-go option and a new Earl of Sandwich Tavern table service location in the former La Brea Bakery building.

Disney has not officially announced an opening date for Earl of Sandwich. The rumor going around is that the restaurant will open at 11 am both tomorrow and Thursday and then on Friday it will begin opening at 8 am. Earl of Sandwich is taking over the previous La Brea Bakery. This is only a temporary location as Disney has announced that Porto’s Bakery will be coming to that spot later this year.
