Welcome to Monstropolis at the Glob Theater

Humans are officially invited to take a seat inside the Glob Theater for a brand-new stage show titled Welcome to Monstropolis. Hosted by the iconic duo Mike and Sulley, the show is designed to highlight the unexpected similarities between humans and monsters.

While Sulley has prepared a sweet, homespun presentation for the audience, Mike Wazowski—ever the showman—has a few massive, show-stopping surprises up his sleeve. Imagineers noted that Mike’s additions just might bring down the house, though hopefully not literally.

Harryhausen’s Restaurant

The dining location fans have been begging for is officially coming to Walt Disney World. Guests will be able to dine at Harryhausen’s, the upscale sushi restaurant famous for hosting Mike and Celia’s unforgettable date night in the original film.

The restaurant will feature a completely unique menu unlike anything else currently offered at Walt Disney World. As a stunning centerpiece, the location will feature a brand-new Audio-Animatronics figure of the famed octopus sushi chef, whose many tentacles will be whipping up delicious, monster-worthy creations right before guests’ eyes.

Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza & MU Alumni Club

For a more casual bite, visitors can head over to Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza. Recognized as the top-rated pizza joint in Monstropolis, the restaurant is named after Archie, the beloved six-legged mascot of Fear Tech who eventually became a fan favorite across both college campuses.

Right next door, human tourists can explore the Monsters University Alumni Club while enjoying their pizza. The space serves as a tribute to the various student clubs, fraternities, and sororities at MU, and features an exclusive look inside the elite Scarer’s Club, which honors legendary scarers from years past.

The Scareporium

No trip to the monster world would be complete without a souvenir. Guests looking to commemorate their visit to Monstropolis can stop by the Scareporium, the land’s dedicated merchandise location packed with monster-themed apparel, accessories, and unique collectibles.
