Hiring Begins for New Earl of Sandwich Locations

The long-awaited return of Earl of Sandwich to its permanent home is nearly here, and it’s bringing a high-profile neighbor along for the ride. The transformation of the Downtown Disney District hit a major milestone this week as both the classic sandwich shop and the brand-new Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby officially began recruitment for their upcoming grand openings.

Hiring is currently underway for a variety of positions at the two-story dining complex located near the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage. The “tandem” opening features a quick-service Earl of Sandwich on the ground floor, while the second story will house Chef Ramsay’s 1960s-inspired British gastropub. Both venues are seeking kitchen and front-of-house staff—including servers, bartenders, and line cooks—to join the team at the Anaheim destination.

Employment opportunities have officially arrived for the two newest additions to the Downtown Disney District. According to the Earl Enterprises recruitment site, Earl of Sandwich is currently looking to fill several essential roles, including line and prep cooks, expeditors, bussers, cashiers, hosts, and delivery drivers for its permanent ground-floor location.

Just upstairs, Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby is also building its inaugural team. The upcoming gastropub is actively hiring for a wide range of front and back-of-house positions, including servers, bartenders, hosts, wait assistants, dishwashers, and line and prep cooks.

The new British-themed gastropub from “Hell’s Kitchen” star Gordon Ramsay is currently under construction on the second level of a brand-new, two-story complex. This elevated dining experience will sit directly above the highly anticipated permanent home of the Earl of Sandwich.

For the past few years, the “nomadic” Earl of Sandwich has moved between several temporary spots across the district, but its wandering days are finally coming to an end. Earl Enterprises has officially confirmed that the fast-casual favorite will debut its permanent ground-floor location this winter. Since the winter window officially closes on March 20, 2026, fans can expect to be biting into an “Original 1762” very soon! Meanwhile, the upstairs Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby gastropub is also slated to make its grand debut later in 2026.
