Don Cheadle Shares New Details for Marvel Studios ‘Armor Wars‘. This week, actor Don Cheadle has gone on record to confirm the new Disney+ Original Series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will introduce the upcoming Marvel series, Armor Wars. Cheadle has also confirmed his involvement in the new show and shared with ET Online:
“It’s going to be dope. We’re really going to have a chance to explore a lot of stuff about [James] Rhodes. I mean, you look at what we’ve done so far, there’s a lot left to be explored. So I think there’s a lot of real estate that we’re going to dig into. “It’s going to be just fully wide open. We’re going to start filming in a couple months and we’ll see.”
Don Cheadle is set to return as James “Rhodey” Rhodes, aka War Machine, in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and has shared that events in the series will set off the Armor Wars storyline from the comics within the MCU. Cheadle’s confirmation comes from an interview with BroBible, “It’s really a fun and interesting and, by all imagination, completely open-ended — this can go anywhere. It’s great, I can’t wait to get in the room with the writers and figure out how all those things [Armor Wars in the MCU] happen. You know, Rhodey shows up in Winter Soldier and Falcon’s show. So, it can be a lot.”
Are you excited to see Don Cheadle join the cast of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier? What do you think this will mean for the future of the MCU?
