With the current events going on with the world, and Covid-19 making its way to Florida there have been many closures. We are all aware of the closures at Disney World and its surrounding Resorts. Well, it has now trickled its way to the Florida beaches and with that Disney’s Vero Beach Resort.
Although Disney has not had a known case of Covid-19 they are proceeding with extreme caution for the welfare of the population by closing down for the time being. Starting on Friday, March 20, at 5 pm they will be closing the doors for now till the end of the month. Current guests will have to make other arrangments to check out by that time. This gives them a couple more days to figure out their new plans.
The Magical Express transportation services for Disney will still be transporting guests to the airport through Friday the 20th as well. Disney is staying on top of the situation and is in close contact with the appropriate officials to determine when it will be safe to reopen their Parks, Restaurants, and Resorts.
If you have a trip that was planned during this time you are able to contact Disney to work on rescheduling your plans. Disney is doing right by its cast members as well by paying them during this shutdown. We are working diligently to bring you all the info as soon as possible regarding the closures and reopenings as soon as they become available. Follow Chip and Co for all the current updates.
