Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park will reopen on January 2nd, 2022!

After months of speculation… Disney has just confirmed that they will be reopening the Typhoon Lagoon water park on January 2nd, 2022 the day after Blizzard Beach closes!

The information was just posted on the Disney World website!

However, Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park will be closing for its annual refurbishment on January 1st, 2022. There is no word on how long this is expected to take or if both parks will eventually be opened at the same time.

Right now the weather in Orlando has been perfect with the temps in the mid-’80s. We are glad to see at least 1 Disney World Water Park will be open for guests during this winter heatwave.
