Newly Renovated Rooms Debut at Disney’s Swan Resort

The Walt Disney World Swan Resort has unveiled a first look at its newly renovated guest rooms, giving guests a glimpse of the fresh and modern updates coming to the resort. In a social media post, the Swan Resort teased the transformation, sharing, “New room vibes! ✨ We’re giving you the perfect excuse to book your next getaway. Sneak a peek at our freshly styled spaces, and start planning your stay today.”

As part of an ongoing $275 million expansion and renovation project, every guest room at the Walt Disney World Swan is set to receive a complete remodel by the end of 2024. The newly updated rooms feature sleek tile flooring, contemporary furnishings, and upgraded technology, seamlessly blending luxury with the resort’s signature water-inspired aesthetic. These enhancements follow the opening of the Swan Reserve in 2021, which introduced 349 boutique-style luxury rooms to the resort complex.

Beyond the room renovations, the Swan and Dolphin Resort is expanding its meeting and convention facilities in a significant way. The project includes a new two-story annex that will add 120,000 square feet of meeting space. This addition will feature a bright, floor-to-ceiling windowed atrium, a dramatic staircase, and expanded foyers to enhance event flow and networking opportunities. The updated design embraces a fresh coastal-inspired color palette of whites, blues, and natural wood tones to complement the resort’s waterfront setting.

This major transformation will cement the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin as one of the largest convention venues on the East Coast, with a total of 469,000 square feet of event space across its three buildings. Construction on the new expansion begins this November, with a scheduled completion by late summer 2026.
