Disney’s BoardWalk Inn Unveils Refreshed Lobby Furniture
Guests at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn will be greeted by a refreshed lobby, featuring both brand-new furniture and beautifully reupholstered versions of some familiar favorites.

The circular bench at the lobby entrance has been given a fresh look with new upholstery. While the green bolster pillows appear unchanged (though they may have been replaced), the bench seats themselves have been transformed with a new pink velvet fabric, replacing the previous red zig-zag stripes.
The backs also feature a new floral pattern, similar to the old one but with a richer color palette including blue and red, replacing the previous pale pink and green design.

Moving further into the lobby, three distinct seating areas, each separated by planters and decorative elements, face the check-in desks. In the first of these areas, a four-legged end table has been replaced by a single-legged version. A bench has been removed, making way for a new blue armchair with a rounded back. The two other armchairs in this section, previously green, have been reupholstered in the same blue as the new armchair. The brown couch has been replaced with a brand-new blue couch. Finally, a low coffee table has given way to a trefoil-shaped (resembling a Mickey head) blue-green ottoman.

In the second section, the high-backed brown armchairs remain, though they may have been reupholstered for a fresh, clean look.

The couches in this area have been replaced with new blue-green upholstered versions featuring rounded, slightly protruding seats. The throw pillows add a pop of color with a pink grid design and green stripes. A circular table now stands in place of the previous rectangular coffee table.

In the final section, the two light brown armchairs remain, while another new blue couch—identical in shape to the first—has been added. This couch is accented with red-striped and yellow floral pillows.
Disney’s BoardWalk Inn and Villas has been undergoing a multi-year transformation. Two years ago, the lobby was remodeled. In 2022, The Belle Vue Lounge received new furniture, and Carousel Coffee, complete with its own seating area, replaced Dundy’s Sundries. Guest rooms have also been updated.
Beyond the Inn, the boardwalk itself has seen significant changes. While it was recently announced that Jellyrolls will be closing, Big River Grille and Brewing Works closed last year. Since 2022, several new dining locations have opened: BoardWalk Deli, BoardWalk Ice Cream, Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs, and The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers, replacing previous establishments.
